The general context of this project is to develop a mobile-compatible Power App to streamline and centralize the management of miscellaneous inventory items in an integration company. In this company, technicians frequently access and use various small items (miscellaneous) for multiple projects. Each project is assigned a unique QR code, and each inventory item is identified by a barcode, which technicians scan when checking items in or out. The goal is to facilitate efficient inventory control, track inventory usage per project, and reduce the likelihood of stock shortages. The app needs to offer individual login access for users or integrate with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for secure authentication. Additionally, it should connect in real time to an Excel template that monitors stock levels and issues alerts when inventory is low, ensuring proactive management. By centralizing inventory tracking, the app will help the company prevent inventory discrepancies, keep the necessary materials readily available for technicians, and ultimately improve operational efficiency across projects.
