We are seeking a skilled freelancer to design and develop a simple digital display gauge device.

This project is to design a device that reports tool angles, which would be used on small tractors and other construction equipment. Often, the working tools that are used are not fully visible from the operator's position. For example, the angle of the cutting edge on a tractor's front-end loader bucket needs to be set differently for different purposes.

This device will be based on an Arduino, ESP32 or similar platform, and use a common inclinometer chip to provide data. It will have a touchscreen display that shows the angle in degrees, but will alter the displayed angle number with a plus/minus factor from zero, set by the user.  There can be many kinds of attachments, with different positions. It will retain the variables in memory and easily recall or reset them. This is done with a very simple approach to the display output. The project requires building a working prototype. All parts will be provided or paid for by us, there will be no out of pocket costs for the freelancer.
