We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented educational activity book designer to develop advanced mathematics workbooks for children aged 12 to 15, intended for publication on Amazon KDP.
The selected freelancer will be responsible for creating, organizing, and designing engaging mathematical activities that help students develop their problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and mathematical skills.
All content must be written entirely in American English and aligned with the U.S. School curriculum for Grades 7–9.
Responsibilities
Develop original and engaging mathematical exercises, puzzles, challenges, and educational activities.
Organize activities into structured lessons with a logical progression in difficulty.
Create visually appealing, professional, and easy-to-follow workbook layouts.
Ensure that activities are appropriate for students aged 12–15 and consistent with U.S. Educational standards.
Include clear instructions, examples, and answer keys.
Design both the educational content and the interior layout of each workbook.
Deliver print-ready PDF files that meet Amazon KDP publishing requirements.
Requirements
Experience designing educational workbooks, activity books, or learning materials for children and teenagers.
Strong skills in educational layout design and content organization.
Ability to create original, engaging, and effective learning activities.
Good understanding of the American educational system and age-appropriate learning objectives.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow project guidelines.
Ability to work entirely in English.
Advanced mathematical expertise is not mandatory. However, candidates must be able to understand the educational objectives, research the relevant mathematical topics, and ensure that the activities and answer keys are accurate.
