End-to-End Development of a Fully Digital Online Bank Platform and Mobile Apps

We are seeking an experienced team or individual to develop a comprehensive, fully digital online bank platform. This project focuses on traditional savings and checking accounts, accessible via a web portal and companion iOS/Android mobile banking applications. The core objective is to build a secure, compliant, and user-friendly digital banking experience from the ground up.

Key areas of expertise required include:

End-to-end Architecture: Design and implement the complete system architecture for an online bank. This includes robust solutions for account opening, Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance flows, secure user login mechanisms, and a real-time account ledger system.

Mobile Application Development: Develop high-quality iOS and Android mobile banking applications that mirror the functionality of the web platform. Core features will include balance-checking, seamless fund transfers, instant notifications, and basic bill-pay integration.

Payment Rail Integration: Integrate with essential payment rails such as ACH and card issuing services. Exploration and implementation of instant payment capabilities will also be considered if viable.

Regulatory and Security Best Practices: Implement stringent security measures and regulatory compliance. This includes pci-dss–level security, comprehensive data encryption for data in transit and at rest, and detailed audit logging to satisfy banking regulators.

Admin Dashboard: Develop an intuitive administrative dashboard for internal teams, specifically designed for compliance officers and customer-support staff to manage operations efficiently.

Acceptance Criteria:
1. A deployed, test-ready web portal and mobile application (developed using React Native or native technologies) demonstrating live savings and checking transactions within a sandbox environment.
2. A clean, well-documented API layer, complete with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
3. Provision of all source code, deployment scripts, and a comprehensive hand-off session to enable our internal team to maintain and scale the platform effectively.

We are looking for professionals with direct experience in launching or engineering online banks or e-wallets, and who can provide references for past work that has successfully cleared compliance reviews.
