We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Product Engineer, at a Mid to Senior level, to join capyrAI. Our mission is to build impactful AI-enabled platforms for environmental nonprofits. The core of our initial phase relies on creating compelling, browser-based, interactive, and highly polished demos that can secure client approval from non-technical program directors.
This role requires a professional who can build rapidly and deliver aesthetically pleasing results. Your primary development tools will be React and
Next.js, and you should be proficient in integrating with Claude or OpenAI APIs as standard building blocks. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of shipping products that resemble real-world applications, not just internal dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop interactive visualization mock-ups and engaging demo interfaces for critical client engagements.
* Create Replit-based prototypes to support and facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders.
* Translate complex back-end architectures into intuitive and clear front-end experiences that effectively communicate value to non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong proficiency in React and
Next.js, demonstrated through a robust portfolio of real-world projects.
* Hands-on experience with integrating and utilizing Claude or OpenAI APIs.
* Fluency in prompt engineering techniques.
* A keen design sensibility to ensure user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
* Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
This is a per-engagement, fixed-fee project, offered remotely, with an immediate start preferred.
