We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced video editor to create compelling cinematic videos. Our projects focus on themes of dangerous oceans, shipwrecks, and extreme maritime survival. We are looking for a freelancer who can deliver high-quality content with a style similar to channels like @Epic Adventure Archives, characterized by clean editing, strong tension, good pacing, and professional storytelling.
Key Requirements:
Must be proficient in using GeoLayers 3 for creating detailed map animations and integrating geographic context into the videos.
Strictly no generative AI: We require all footage and scenes to be real or high-quality stock footage. Videos containing AI-generated content will be rejected.
Experience working with real footage and sourcing high-quality stock footage from platforms such as Envato, Freepik, Storyblocks, etc.
Demonstrated ability in tension building through editing, expert sound design, and achieving a cinematic feel.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality throughout the entire video production process.
We are specifically looking for editors who do not rely on AI tools for content creation or to fill video segments.
What You Will Receive From Us:
Full voice-over audio for each project.
A complete script with precise timestamps for editing guidance.
Visual references and style examples (images will be provided).
Clear and detailed instructions for each section of the video.
This is an opportunity for ongoing work if our initial collaboration proves successful. Please include your price per complete video (for videos between 20-25 minutes) in your proposal. We look forward to reviewing your applications and examples of previous work, especially those showcasing map animations or cinematic editing.
