Experienced Illustrator/Graphic Designer for Minimalist Textile Product Designs

Published on the January 08, 2026 in Design & Multimedia

About this project

Open

Hi,

I’m on the way to founding  a little fashion brand for kids and adults, focused on identity and LGBTQ+ representation.

I’m looking for an illustrator or graphic designer to collaborate on minimal, statement-driven designs for a variety of textile products and wearable items, across both apparel and accessories.

Most designs are based on strong phrases, sometimes paired with very simple illustrations.
This role is not only about individual designs, but about helping create coherent, wearable collections.

How we’d work

I handle:
– Brand strategy
– Copy and concepts
– Creative direction

I’m not a fashion or textile designer, so I’m looking for someone comfortable translating ideas into garment-ready designs that work across different product types.

Collaboration style

– Fully  100% remote
– Communication via briefs, messages and shared files
– No calls or video meetings required

You’re a good fit if you:

– Enjoy working with text and restraint
– Have a naïve, organic or hand-drawn style
– Understand fashion basics and garment printing
– Can think in terms of collections and consistency
– Feel comfortable working with LGBTQ+ communities and narratives
– Ability to work, at least initially, within the technical limitations and constraints of Print-on-Demand (POD) environments (file formats, print areas, color limitations, scalability, etc.)

Language

– English required
– Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory

Project details

– Budget: $40 USD per design
– I provide concepts, phrases and references
– You deliver visual execution + 1–2 revisions

There is potential for an ongoing collaboration if the fit is right.

Please share your portfolio and a short note about your experience with fashion or textile design.

Best,

Alba V.
