Experienced Long-Term Video Editor for Engaging Short-Form Social Media Content

Double Vision Studios, a content creation and marketing agency, is seeking a talented and experienced video editor for a long-term partnership. We aim to collaborate with a dedicated professional to produce high-quality short-form video content for a diverse range of local businesses, including real estate agents, restaurants, barbershops, med spas, and coffee shops.

The primary focus of this role will be editing engaging short-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating fast-paced, dynamic edits that capture audience attention. Key responsibilities include implementing dynamic captions and subtitles, incorporating appropriate sound effects, ensuring smooth transitions, and performing basic color correction to enhance visual appeal. All content must be formatted for social media, specifically in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio.

Content types will vary, encompassing real estate videos, general business promotional videos, behind-the-scenes glimpses, client testimonials, trend-based social media content, and talking head videos. We are looking for a freelancer who can consistently deliver creative and impactful edits across these diverse formats.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess proven experience in editing short-form content and be able to demonstrate their capabilities through a strong portfolio of previous work. The ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle is essential. Fluency in either Spanish or English is preferred.

Deliverables for this project include videos that are fully edited and ready for immediate posting, provided in the required vertical 9:16 format.
