Experienced Textile Designer for Exclusive Tartan Pattern

We are launching a contemporary brand with a quiet, understated, and premium aesthetic, and we require a talented textile or surface pattern designer to create an original tartan/check pattern. This pattern will be used as an interior print on recycled polyester for one of our products, appearing mainly as a subtle detail rather than across the entire surface. The desired look is refined, and the final color palette will be collaboratively agreed upon.

Key requirements for this project include:
- Design of one unique tartan/check pattern, exclusively for our product.
- Artwork must be supplied at the intended print scale or with precise dimensions for the repeat.
- The pattern must feature a seamless repeat tile.
- All colors used must be referenced with Pantone TPX codes to ensure accurate color matching during production.
- Preferred file formats for the final artwork are vector (ai/pdf/svg) or high-resolution raster files.

Deliverables:
- Three distinct initial design concepts for review.
- One refined final pattern, developed from the chosen concept.
- Final print-ready files that meet all specified technical requirements.
- A comprehensive color reference sheet detailing all Pantone TPX codes used.

Upon full payment, complete copyright assignment for the pattern will be transferred to our brand. The pattern must be exclusive and cannot be reused or resold by the designer.

We aim to receive the first design concepts within two weeks of project commencement.
