Experienced Trilingual Translator (Sinhala, Tamil, English) for In-Person Interviews in Sri Lanka

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trilingual translator for an extensive in-person interview project in Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, capable of providing word-for-word translation during live interviews.

Project Details:
- Role: In-person translator for interviews.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00.
- Duration: January 2026 - July 2026. The project will span three distinct locations, with an 8-week stay in each location, totaling 24 weeks of work.
- Locations: Kundasale, Tangalle, and Chenkalady.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, word-for-word translation during in-person interviews.
- Facilitate clear communication between interviewers and participants.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the project.

Requirements:
- Proven fluency in Sinhala, Tamil, and English is essential.
- Experience with in-person translation, particularly for interviews, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and reside in the specified location/(s) for the duration of each 8-week segment.

Compensation:
-20000LKR/week

Important Note: While compensation for translation services will be provided, the project budget does not cover food or lodging expenses. Therefore, we strongly prefer candidates who are local to Sri Lanka or can manage their own accommodation and meals during the project period.
