Experienced Video Editor & Motion Graphics Expert for Saas Product Demos

We are looking for a freelance video editor with advanced motion graphics (2D animation) skills to create product demos and explainer videos. Our goal is to replicate the clean, fluid, and professional visual aesthetic seen in videos by leading tech companies like Slack. This is not a simple screen-recording job. We need you to take UI recordings or mockups and "bring them to life." This involves animating interfaces, creating seamless transitions, adding dynamic zooms/pans to guide the viewer, and elegantly integrating graphic elements. Key Responsibilities: Animate UI elements (windows, buttons, click-flows) to dynamically simulate product use. Composite (integrate) screen recordings into animated or clean-color backgrounds. Create smooth, modern motion graphics transitions between app views. Add and animate text (titles, callouts) that matches the video's pacing. Perform the final edit, including syncing with provided music and/or voice-over. Hard Requirements: Advanced Mastery of Adobe After Effects. This is essential for the required style. Strong Portfolio: You must show specific examples of product videos, software demos, or UI animations (SaaS style). Experience in an NLE (like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) for final assembly. Excellent sense of timing/pacing for animations and obsessive attention to detail. Ability to work with design files (Figma, Illustrator, SVG) is a major plus. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional for a potential long-term collaboration.
