About this project

Open

We are seeking a highly skilled freelancer to assist with the preparation and configuration of a pcb manufacturing order through jlcpcb. The project involves two types of boards for the open-source OSMO Tactile Glove sensor system: 60 sensor boards and 4 MCU boards. The design files are available on GitHub.
The primary responsibilities include:
1.  File Conversion: Convert the provided Altium design files (.PcbDoc / .PCBDwf format) into Gerber, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Component Placement List (cpl) files, ensuring full compatibility with jlcpcb's manufacturing requirements.
2.  Order Configuration: Accurately configure the JLCPCB order with the following specifications: Standard pcba, enig surface finish, 0.8mm board thickness, and SMT assembly on both sides.
3.  Component Verification: Thoroughly check the availability of all components listed in the bom against jlcpcb's inventory. Special attention must be paid to the Bosch BMM350 and BHI360 chips. Any components not available through JLCPCB must be clearly flagged for separate sourcing.
4.  Handover: Provide the complete and verified jlcpcb order configuration, ready for our final review and direct payment on the jlcpcb platform.
The successful freelancer will possess strong expertise in Altium Designer, pcb manufacturing processes, and component sourcing/verification for pcba services.
