Full-Time Remote Video Editor for Diverse Content (Social Media, Educational, Ai-Driven) (Ph)

We're hiring a Full-Time Video Editor to join our remote team. You'll be editing a mix of short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, ads) and instructional / long-form videos (tutorials, courses, training, explainers) — including AI-driven videos built with HeyGen avatars.

If you live in Capcut, have a sharp sense of pacing and storytelling, and can cut both a 30-second hook and a 10-minute lesson, we want to talk to you.

what you'll do
────────────────────────────
- edit a mix of short-form social videos, instructional/long-form content, and ai-driven videos using heygen
- sync scripts, voiceovers, captions, b-roll, and branding into clean, publish-ready cuts
- apply strong instincts for pacing, music, text, and visual storytelling
- add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and on-screen callouts where they help
- collaborate on revisions and turn client feedback into polished final cuts
- meet daily / weekly delivery deadlines
- take on related creative tasks as the work calls for it

must have

- 6+ months of experience editing video in capcut (or very similar tools like vn, inshot, or capcut desktop) — or a portfolio that clearly demonstrates this
- a portfolio or google drive folder with 5–10 recent edits (short-form is great; instructional / long-form samples are a bonus)
- strong sense of pacing, music sync, captions, and visual storytelling
- good english communication — written and spoken
- fast learner, comfortable picking up new tools and workflows
- reliable internet connection and proper work setup
- able to commit to the full schedule

- hands-on experience with ai tools (capcut ai features, chatgpt for scripting, canva video, invideo, synthesia, or any ai video generator)
- basic motion graphics — text animations, lower-thirds, callouts, simple effects
- experience editing tutorials, courses, or explainer videos
- adobe premiere pro experience (nice, not required)
- understanding of current social media trends and what performs well across platforms
