Historical Sports Information Researcher for Commemorative Book Project in Massachusetts/Cape Cod

We are seeking a dedicated and practical freelancer to assist with a personal commemorative book project by retrieving historical sports information. The primary focus of this role is to conduct in-person research within the Massachusetts/Cape Cod area.

Key responsibilities will include:

Visiting local libraries and archives to access historical records.
Researching local newspaper archives, microfilm, yearbooks, high school sports archives, and college archives.
Photographing or scanning relevant materials found during research.
Organizing all collected findings in a clear and structured manner.

This is not an academic research project; rather, it requires a hands-on approach to gather specific historical data. The ideal candidate will be proficient in navigating physical archives and efficiently managing information retrieval.
