We are seeking a highly reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist for our sites in Hong Kong and South Korea. This is an hourly contract role with an initial term of 6 months, with potential for extension. The position requires availability during Hong Kong business hours and involves both remote and in-person support.
The primary responsibility will be to serve as the first point of contact for all tech-related support needs from colleagues across multiple locations. This includes providing assistance with hardware, software, connectivity, and Audio/Visual (AV) setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to users.
- Conduct rotational remote site visits to locations without dedicated IT personnel.
- Set up IT equipment and accounts for new employees and conduct onboarding sessions.
- Support conference rooms, AV equipment, and internal events.
- Troubleshoot security and endpoint issues, escalating when necessary.
- Assist with office moves and technology installations.
- Manage IT hardware inventory, including procurement, replacements, and disposal.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must be based in Hong Kong and willing to travel locally as needed.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills covering laptops, networks, AV equipment, and various software applications.
- Capable of managing IT inventory alongside hands-on support tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, helpful demeanor.
- Proactive and able to solve problems independently.
