Kubernetes Storage Performance Audit and Optimization for Premotec Gmbh

We are seeking a seasoned Kubernetes specialist to conduct a comprehensive audit of our cluster's storage infrastructure at Premotec GmbH. Our current setup utilizes cloud-backed persistent volumes (ISCSI on Synology NAS) for all workloads, and we are experiencing significant performance bottlenecks. The primary goal of this engagement is to identify and resolve these performance issues.

The selected freelancer will be responsible for:

1.  **Deep-Dive Audit**: Conduct a thorough examination of our current Kubernetes cluster configuration, with a specific focus on storage. This includes analyzing:
    *  Latency, IOPS, and throughput from node to volume.
    *  Evaluation of our existing CSI (Container Storage Interface) drivers.
    *  Review of reclaim policies and volume-provisioning strategies.
    *  Assessment of storage classes, volume claims, and node topology.
    *  Analysis of monitoring data and usage forecasts.

2.  **Comprehensive Written Report**: Deliver a detailed report that clearly explains identified bottlenecks, establishes performance baselines, and proposes concrete, actionable steps to rebuild or expand the storage layer. This may include recommendations for tuning existing cloud volumes, integrating faster storage classes, or other relevant solutions.

3.  **Prioritized Roadmap**: Provide a strategic roadmap outlining the proposed solutions, prioritized by effort versus impact. This will enable our management team to make informed decisions regarding the next steps for our storage infrastructure.
