Microsoft Access & Vba Developer for Automated Data Import Solution

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Access and VBA freelancer for a critical data automation project. Our small company in Spain maintains a staff database of approximately 4,000 records in Microsoft Access on an office PC. Currently, updates regarding job offer status, availability, address, and messaging consent are collected via a WhatsApp assistant. We need to automate the process of integrating these updates into our Access database, eliminating manual data entry.

Proposed Approach (open to freelancer suggestions):
- Updates will arrive as small Excel files, stored in a Google Drive folder that is synced to the office PC.
- A hidden Access form, equipped with a 60-second timer, will be responsible for automatically importing these new Excel files.
- The system must accurately update the corresponding records in the Access database.
- It should gracefully handle and skip locked records, with a retry mechanism for such instances.
- The solution must prevent the creation of duplicate records.
- A receipt file should be generated upon successful import.

Project Scope:
1. Conduct a feasibility review on an empty copy of the existing database.
2. Implement any necessary new fields or tables within the Access database.
3. Develop the VBA code for the automated data import functionality.
4. Perform thorough testing with simulated data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
5. Provide remote installation and configuration of the solution on the office PC.
