Our company needs to create a DATABASE for different samples that were tested in the past and know need to be stored.
The work can be developed in Excel or Access, but should fulfill the following requirements:
1) User friendly (the people that are going to use it are not used to complex systems)
2) Nice and clear in an esthetical way ( macros are desirable)
3) It should not occupy so much space because it will be uploaded in a share point.
4) Work offline
Regarding the functionalities the following points are required:
1) Formulary for Data Introduction ( for numerical Data, PDF and email attachment)
a. Conditionals for avoiding an erroneous data introduction
b. Conditional in some introduced data to know the status of sample ( caducity, ok or
n.ok)
2) Option for searching a certain sample by different options:
a.
Sample’s Name
b. Sample’s Code
c. Sample’s Client
d.
Samples’s Report number
3) Display of certain samples DATA (Select which data you want to display):
a. Display of data
b. Display of the Status
c.
Display of the Ubication
d. Display of Expiration Data
e. Display of the attached PDF file/ email
