Project Description: Web App (Pwa) with Live Streaming for Pet Shop

Goal:
Develop a Progressive Web App (pwa) for a pet shop in the us, allowing customers to watch their pets’ baths live. The application should be simple, secure, and easy to use for both the pet shop staff and the pet owners.

🔧 Key Features

User Authentication

Login and password for each customer (Firebase or Supabase suggested).

Each customer should only have access to their own pet’s information and live streams.

Customer Dashboard (“My Pet”)

Pet photo and basic information.

Bath history (previous dates).

Button to watch the live stream when available.

Live Streaming

Integration with a live streaming provider (Mux, Agora.io, aws ivs, or vimeo live).

Embedded video player inside the PWA.

Minimum quality: 720p.

Only one viewer per stream (the pet’s owner).

Notifications

Pet shop staff should be able to notify the customer when the bath starts.

Notification can be via push notification, email, or SMS.

Admin Panel (Pet Shop)

Simple dashboard to start/stop the stream.

Register pets and link them to customers.

Send notifications to customers.

Technical Requirements

Frontend: React, Next.js, or similar.

Backend/Auth: Firebase or Supabase.

Video: integration with existing live streaming service (no need to build infrastructure from scratch).

Hosting: Vercel/Netlify/Firebase Hosting.

PWA: must be installable on mobile devices like a native app.

Scope & Deadline

Deliverable: MVP with the features above.

Deadline: as soon as possible.

Previous experience with live streaming integrations (Mux, Agora, aws ivs, vimeo).

Previous experience building PWAs.

Good communication (weekly progress updates required).
