Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Creative Writer to join our team full-time. This role involves crafting, editing, and publishing engaging short film scripts specifically designed for the Mozaik platform. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing punchy, impactful scenes and scripts that align with our unique style and appeal to a broad, diverse audience. As a Senior Creative Writer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the content that fuels Mozaik’s mission to bring innovative, collaborative short films to life. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities:

Scriptwriting: Write and develop concise, engaging scripts for 5-minute Mozaik films that capture audience attention and maintain high engagement.
Editing and Feedback: Provide revisions and edits to ensure scripts meet quality standards and adhere to platform guidelines.
Content Publication: Coordinate with directors and actors to ensure smooth script handoffs and manage publishing timelines for content.
Creative Development: Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop new script ideas tailored for Mozaik’s audience.
Community Insights: Leverage audience feedback and trends in user-generated content (UGC) to optimize scripts for relevance and impact.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in creative writing, with a focus on short film scripts or UGC content (e.g., TikTok, YouTube skits).
Proven track record of published work or production credits in film, social media, or digital storytelling.
Exceptional understanding of pacing, tone, and style for short-form content.
Strong editing skills with an eye for quality and detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and adapt quickly to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with mobile-first content platforms or short film/UGC applications.
Passion for emerging trends in digital media and user engagement.
