1. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations, investments, and long-term growth. Monitor and control costs across the organization, driving financial efficiency and identifying opportunities for cost savings. 2. Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with US financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations. Manage internal and external audits, addressing any audit findings to maintain compliance. Collaborate with external tax advisors to prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. 3. Performance Monitoring & Cost Control: Continuously monitor costs and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure the organization operates efficiently. Implement cost-saving initiatives and improvements to drive financial performance. 4. Financial Systems & Automation: Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of financial systems (e.g., Xero) to improve reporting, budgeting, and financial data management. Lead efforts to streamline accounting processes through automation, enhancing scalability and operational efficiency. 5. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with us gaap. Present financial insights to senior leadership, identifying trends, and recommending actions to improve financial performance. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support strategic business decisions. 6. Financial Strategy & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, monitoring performance against the budget and recommending adjustments as needed. Perform financial forecasting and scenario analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making. Align financial strategies with the company’s goals to ensure sustainable financial health and growth. 7. Strategic Decision Support: Provide senior leadership, including the CEO and board of directors, with actionable financial insights and recommendations related to financial strategy, investments, and performance. 8. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of F&A professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure they are equipped to meet financial and operational goals. The Senior Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial health, executing strategic financial initiatives, and ensuring that the organization meets its financial goals while complying with relevant regulations.
