This study presents a static structural analysis of a lattice truss tower, a type of structure commonly used in various engineering applications, including wind turbines, communication towers, and bridges. The analysis focuses on evaluating the structural behavior of the lattice truss tower for wind turbine under various loading conditions, including dead loads, live loads, and environmental loads.
Problem Statement:
Investigate the structural behavior of a  truss tower for a wind turbine under steady wind loading. Determine the maximum stress and deflection in the tower members and evaluate its structural integrity based on a chosen material (e.g., Steel) and allowable stress limits by using finite element analysis (FEA).
The results based on stress distribution plots, deformation plots,Buckling analysis taken into consideration to optimize geometric parameters to ensure stability of tower.
