Video Editor for Online Pet Course - 8 lessons + 2 Introductions

I’m looking for a reliable and creative video editor to help me polish 10 short educational videos for my online course aimed at pet owners. The videos are already recorded and range from 4 to 8 minutes each. I will provide a Canva slide template in my brand colors (a gradient of soft purple and blue) to use throughout the videos.
This job requires basic editing, visual enhancements, and a thoughtful approach to pacing and content clarity. I’m looking for someone who understands storytelling, has an eye for detail, and respects the calm, educational tone of the course.
Your Tasks Will Include:
1.    Clean editing of each video (cut pauses, filler words, or errors).
2.    Add intro/outro slides using the Canva slide template.
O    Even though I speak the intro and outro within the video, we want a branded visual slide at the beginning and end for consistency.
3.    Insert branded slides (Canva template provided) during longer spoken segments to avoid too much on-camera time.
O    These slides will include supporting text or quotes taken from what I’m saying.
4.    Include end-of-lesson slides for:
o    Key Takeaways
o    Practice for Today
o    These should not be spoken by me. They must appear as slides after I finish speaking.
O    Each bullet point should appear one by one, using light transitions (like fade-in or slide-in).
O    Display each point for 4–5 seconds, depending on length, to ensure clarity and good pacing.
5.    Add subtle visual enhancements:
o    Light transitions or breaks between topics
o    Slight zooms or crop-ins to reduce static shots (to keep viewer attention)
o    B-roll or stock images where appropriate (only if it fits the content and tone)
6.    Export videos in MP4 format (1080p HD) for web upload.
7.    Add on-screen captions/subtitles that match my speech for better accessibility and clarity (especially helpful given my accent). These captions must be burned-in (permanently visible on the video).
O    They should appear in sync with my speech, not all at once.
O    They must be grammatically correct and easy to read.
O    Please ensure they accurately reflect what I say, even if slight rewording is needed for clarity.
O    Captions should be placed at the bottom of the screen in a clean, professional font—not too large or too small.

Assets You’ll Receive:
•    Canva slide deck (in brand colors: light purple/blue gradient)
•    Raw video files (screen-recorded HD)
•    Text transcript/script for context
•    Example video (optional) to follow tone and structure
•    Key Takeaways and Practice for Today (provided in text format)
•    Guidance for on-screen captions (your task will be to transcribe from the video or lightly edit the script for subtitle clarity)
Requirements:
•    Attention to detail, especially for audio-video sync
•    Respect for confidentiality and copyright (this is original course material)
•    Experience editing course or educational content preferred
•    Ability to communicate promptly and professionally
Deliverables:
•    10 fully edited videos
•    Each exported in MP4, 1080p, named and organized
•    Use consistent formatting and transitions across all lessons
•    Editable project files (optional but preferred)
•    Turnaround: 2 weeks total or sooner
Trial Video:
Before proceeding with the rest of the project, I would like to:
•    Start with 1 edited video as a sample
•    Review and give feedback
•    Once approved, you will continue with the remaining videos
