Role Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral part of the OT&S Accounting team, reporting to the Director of Accounting. This role will be responsible for assisting with accounting aspects of the business, and requires understanding of accounting/finance and the ability to partner with the O&TS lines of businesses, as well as NBCUniversal’s various business units.

Assist quarterly closing processes, including posting journal entries and reviewing O&ts hq departmental expenses and establishing accruals to ensure all expenses are captured and stated properly.
Prepare account reconciliations, as assigned, on a quarterly basis and in accordance with NBCU Account Reconciliation policy.
Responsible for the coordination and/or preparation of quarterly close and reporting schedules, including quarterly balance sheet variance analyses.
Drive controllership function and ensure all accounting policies are strictly adhered to.
Ensure proper business controls, including general ledger accounting activities and multiple platform interfaces.
Assist in the Payables process for O&ts hq: process/post/and track invoices for payment and resolve issues with a/p, vendors, etc.
Ensure payroll is processed accurately for O&ts hq employees
assist with capital expenditure accounting to include oversight of all new projects, capitalization and depreciation of all assets.
Perform periodic audits of T&E, P-Card and Black Car expenses; prepare and distribute monthly reporting to O&TS lines of businesses.
Complete ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and other special projects for all departments.
