To succeed, you MUST be able to persuasively get Procurement/ Contracting officers to act. This position requires motivation, energy, and results. This position requires interaction by phone with Procurement/Contracting officers to solicit orders for our goods or services, make appointments, collect information and conduct follow-ups. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: • Use online portals and an auto-dialer to obtain orders by selling our products via the following process: • Prospect and research for potential customers (government agencies) • Contact Procurement/Contracting Officers by phone • Be able to read terms and details of sales contracts, especially delivery specifications and Certification Requirements • Learn how to deal with contracting officers, how to gain required information and learn how to ask right questions. Learn what you can and can't do, say and/or ask! • Deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase our product or service • Describe our company, products, and services • Identify and overcome objections • Maintain customer / potential customer databases • Follow up on initial contacts • Complete records of telephonic interactions, orders, and accounts Success Attributes: This position is for telemarketer sales professionals that possess a ‘no-excuses’ determination. You must have an internal drive to exceed goals. You must have exceptional problem-solving abilities and have a strategic mentality with critical thinking skills that assist you in identifying potential obstacles so that you can proactively create solutions. Requirements: • 2+ years of successful, solid, telephone sales experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • You must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • You are a strong team player, but able to manage yourself independently • College Preferred • Adequate typing skills • Proficient in relevant computer applications • Required language English GOF is one of the fastest growing government procurement companies in the industry.
