I want to start a new business to develop B2B e-commerce solutions based on one of the popular open source platforms, the name of which I cannot describe due to privacy reasons.
I have overall of 10 years of working experience in the E-Commerce area from the last 5 years in role of key technical person of open-source .E-Commerce platform that becoming growing very fast and have clients companies from fortune 500.
Now when my company decided to reorient to developing an partner network I see a big opportunities for me to fund a new company that will be affiliated by partnership relations with the company in which I currently work.
I'm ready to take full responsibility for a technical part of solutions development, team scaling and partnerships technical relationships, but I need a partner in Europe or the USA countries that help me with business development (company registrations, account management, pre-sales activity etc)
The primary business model is to establish the partner relationships with company vendor of E-Commerce platform (I can't call it name due to confidence reason) and receive potential leads/clients thanks this partnership relation and earn money by developing and supporting projects. (Almost all these projects are long-term and have a huge budgets)
I’m key technical person in this E-Commerce platform, I still working on this company and have access to new information first (But I'm not going to abuse it, I'm love my company and wants to be honest, I’d like play only by rules)
I have huge experience with development big B2B/B2C E-commerce and I know the platform the best, thus our company will have a very huge competitive advantage in terms of speed and quality of development.
Minimum starting budget (only for site hosting and by DNS name for company, Partnership establishment, certification). Site, SEO promotion, technical articles for blog, first PoC and projects I meant to do it by self at the initial stage.
The novelty of partner program in vendor company and a small number of partners increases the chance to get tasty clients.
I want to be incognito because I'm still working in the company vendor of E-commerce platform thus I can’t communicate directly with platform vendor company.
I can’t spend a lot of personal time for business development (I’m a technical person and still working on my primary job)
Need a legal personality (company) in Europe or USA to be able have deals with our potential clients
1 or 2 big clients can solve all our financial problems for rest of life with minimal financial investments from our site.
