After a 25 years career as a University Professor in the area of Computer Science and Automatic Control, I'm currently working on agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Lean and eXtreme Programming.
Through training and consulting, I like helping people and Workgroups looking forward to increasing the agility of their organizations.
I was an organization team member of the fist Agile Tour in Venezuela on 2011(Mérida), and on the ones that took place in Mérida and Caracas, 2012. The same year, I was organizer and facilitator of the Global Day of Coderetreat (Mérida, Venezuela). In 2013 I worked as Co-Chairman in the Ágiles 2013 (Lima, Peru), the annual Latin American conference of Agile Methods.
I am Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Professional Scrum Developer (PSD). Recently, I did the course of Management 3.0 with Jurgen Appelo, (Bogotá, 7-8 October, 2013). I am learning about Lean Startup and I am already impressed about its impact on agility.
I have a degree on Systems Engineering (ULA), MSc and PhD in Automation (INPG-France). Retired System Engineering professor from Universidad de Los Andes, with plenty experience on teaching and research.
