We are seeking an experienced AI Agent Developer to build a compact document agent for a Proof of Concept (POC). The primary goal is to create an agent capable of interacting with a single large PDF or Markdown file.
Key functionalities required for the agent include:
* Ability to answer questions accurately based on the provided document content.
* Capability to query the document repeatedly to gather comprehensive information.
* Intelligent refinement of searches when initial evidence is insufficient to formulate a complete answer.
* Generation of a structured report or brief that incorporates clear citations from the source document.
* Comprehensive logging of the complete agent trace for evaluation and debugging purposes.
The preferred development framework is Google ADK. However, we are open to proposals utilizing other robust open-source alternatives such as LangChain. Freelancers are encouraged to propose their preferred AI tools for designing the chat interface, ensuring a user-friendly and effective interaction experience.
