Our customer is the leader in the dematerialization of cash register receipts in France. They work with the big names in the retail industry (all activities included) and are currently experiencing strong growth.

We are looking for a Back End Developer to help their product evolve.

The position is to start part-time and, once you have proved your skills, become a full-time freelancer job with continuous demand.

For that, you must master Node.js and Typescript using Microservices structure.

Having some knowledge in those technologies is a plus:
- Loopback
- Angular
- Mongodb
- Docker
- Kubernetes

Main activities (mainly Backend but you can give a hand to the Frontend if needed):
- Development and evolution of microservices
- Development of unit and integration tests
- Participation in the design and technical choices

Project overview

Their project is to simplify the world of transactions while adding ethical and environmental values. First, it will be a matter of taking up the company’s collective challenge: to put an end with purchase tickets (1.2 million tons of thermal paper, mostly impregnated with environmentally toxic components) and to do better than the paper ticket through simple and practical services. Reporting to the lead developer, you will be responsible for working on the development and evolution of the microservices of the infrastructure. The infrastructure, whose particularity lies in the huge volumes of data that are processed per second. You will also participate in the design of the architecture, sharing your experience in other large-scale projects.
