We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Independent Bookkeeper to manage the financial record-keeping for our S Corp and potentially other affiliated businesses. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, manage their workload effectively, and possess a strong understanding of QuickBooks. This role requires proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for an s corp and potentially other affiliated businesses.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports (e.g., Balance sheets, income statements).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
- Handle payroll processing (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Ability to Work independently
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple business entities within QuickBooks (if applicable).
- Perform other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably for small and medium size business in different industries.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal as a minimum).
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (online and/or desktop versions).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
