Book Marketing Assistant (10-Hour Launch Support) – Amazon Kdp, Gumroad, Social Media

Job Description:

I’m seeking a reliable and creative freelancer to assist with the marketing launch of my self-help book, Unstoppable Patterns. The book is ready for publishing, and I need help across several platforms to build awareness and sales momentum.

This is a part-time job (10 hours total) over 2 days or spread across 5 hours/day for 2 days.
Fixed budget: $55 USD.

You must be able to work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver on time.

Scope of Work (within 10 hours total):

    Amazon KDP Launch Prep (2 hours)

        Optimize book title, subtitle, and keyword categories

        Format and refine the Amazon book description

        Assist in setting up A+ Content (images, layout – simple guidance only)

    Gumroad Store Setup (2 hours)

        Upload the PDF version of the book and one bonus resource (I will provide)

        Set pricing, title, product descriptions

        Test the checkout process for a clean user experience

    Goodreads Author Profile Setup (1 hour)

        Create or polish my Goodreads author profile

        Link the book to the profile

        Prepare a short list of steps I can follow to run a giveaway later

    TikTok/Instagram Content Plan (2 hours)

        Create a list of 10 video content ideas for Reels or TikTok

        Suggest hashtags and captions

        Optional: use Canva to create 1 sample graphic or quote post

    Email Lead Magnet + Welcome Emails (3 hours)

        Design a simple downloadable lead magnet PDF (1–2 pages, I’ll provide the content)

        Set up a 3-email welcome sequence in MailerLite or ConvertKit

        Ensure the automation works properly and test delivery

Deliverables:

    Optimized KDP metadata and book description (Word or Google Doc)

    Gumroad product page live and tested

    Goodreads profile updated with the book linked

    TikTok/Instagram content idea sheet (Google Doc or PDF)

    1 graphic or Canva template (optional bonus)

    Lead magnet PDF (ready to upload)

    3 welcome emails drafted + automation set up and tested

Time Commitment:
10 hours total, split into 5 hours/day for 2 days (or as mutually agreed). Must be completed within 3–4 days from hire.
