- Full stack (as nanni mention they will have to work on any layer of the applications)
- Senior: they should be able to make design of algorithm, deliver in time and with excellent quality
- Agile methodology knowledge (as developer not scrum master)
- GIT
- Able to design/create algorithms and be able to improve them
- Linux: as a developer (connect to a server, search a process, kill a process, search in a log file, etc etc)
- More technical aspects:
- OOP
- Design patterns
- Frontend: we will use mostly React and Redux so we will make questions around that stack. Knowledge on some precss (like less or scss will be a plus)
- Java, must know:
- Java basic (collections, operators, etc)
- Java mid/advanced language questions
- Concurrency
- Tooling (gradle, maven, etc)
- Unit testing frameworks
- Best practices
- TypeScript/Node:
- Language syntax
- Best practices
- Concurrency
- Express
- Base de datos (preference MySQL and MongoDB):
- Basic design concepts
- SQL syntax
- Architecture: basic concepts like; what is a rest api and how it works? session management inside an application, etc.
- Security: knowledge of at least the basic attack vectors (and how to prevent them) in a backend and APIs
