About this project

**The project:**

My client is working on the leading infrastructure platform providing scalable and easy-to-use APIs and cloud solutions for blockchain and decentralized application developers. Infura currently offers APIs for Ethereum, IPFS, and other leading decentralized networks, allowing developers to immediately begin building instead of spending time on architecting and maintaining their own infrastructure.

The platform provides developers instant access to decentralized and blockchain networks
without the need to sync or understand complicated peer to peer infrastructure. Similar
to how one might access a cloud service to alleviate the friction of owning proprietary
compute and storage, the platform lowers the barrier to entry for engineers to begin building.

**What you will do:**

As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a world-class technical team with state of the art expertise in developing and delivering advanced decentralized applications (Dapps). This role will be to define and manage all aspects of the development and production infrastructure as part of an agile scrum team working on Enterprise client projects.

**Responsibilities include:**

- Build and run production infrastructure
- Implement and support ci/cd pipelines
- setup monitoring and tracking tools to support developer teams

on a daily basis you will be part of an agile, often multinational scrum team delivering
high standard production software. You will work closely with the project team
composed of a project manager, back-end and front-end developers, QA Engineers,
Customer Success teams, and the project stakeholders.

**What tools will you use:**

We work with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Pulumi, terraform), containers and
container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, ECS); event source / message based
architectures (e.g. Kafka); Amazon Web Services (aws); both rdbms and nosql
datastores (e.g. Postgres, Mongo, Redis, DynamoDb); Linux based operating systems;
and of course blockchain and DLT. Understanding both traditional virtual server
infrastructure, containerized workloads, as well as modern serverless workloads is a
key part of the expertise we are looking for.
