Que es webp?

WebP es un formato de imagen creado por Google para reducir el tamaño de las imágenes y así disminuir el tiempo de carga de las mismas, lo cual hoy en día se ha convertido en una necesidad generada por los dispositivos móviles. Este formato WebP ya está siendo usado en algunos portales de Google, como pueden ser Youtube o Google Play, lo cual supone un ahorro de ancho de banda importante.
