APOC Ministry is seeking a skilled video editor to produce a 3-5 minute recap mini-documentary about our community pop-up shop held in August. The mini-doc will combine footage, interviews, B-roll, and on-screen titles to tell a compelling story focusing on the event's purpose, the people involved, and its overall
impact.Scope and Deliverables:The primary deliverable is a main video, 3-5 minutes in length, formatted in 16:9 for YouTube and website use. Additionally, we require 2-3 social media cutdowns, each 30-60 seconds long, formatted in either 9:16 or 1:1 aspect
ratios.Inputs Provided:We will provide raw interview footage, B-roll, music direction, our brand kit, and a basic outline for the video.Outputs Required:The final outputs must include a color-balanced master video (1080p resolution) with a clean audio mix, lower-thirds, and tasteful transitions. An on-brand title card and end slate are also required. We prefer a captions/subtitles file (.srt) for the main video. The source project files and organized assets should be included in the final handoff.Workflow Expectations:The editor will be expected to assemble a rough cut based on our provided outline and propose a compelling story arc, including a cold open, context, impact, and a call-to-action. Drafts should be uploaded to a review platform for feedback, with timestamped notes implemented. We anticipate 1-2 revision cycles. The final master video and social cutdowns will be delivered via a file sharing service.Quality Bar:We expect a strong cold open (under 10 seconds) that effectively sets the stakes or emotion. Dialogue must be clean, with noise reduction applied as needed. Music levels must be legally compliant, and skin tones should appear natural. Lower-thirds and titles must consistently match our brand kit.Tooling:Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is essential. Experience with collaborative review platforms and file sharing services is also expected.Timeline:A rough cut is expected within 5-7 days after asset delivery. Revisions (Rev 1) should be provided within 48 hours of receiving notes.
