Experienced Video Editor Job Description

I am looking to hire an editor for my YouTube channel focused on the uncomfortable truths of content and how to have a fulfilling content creation experience: Monetarily and personally. There's a chance that the concept changes by the time you join the team and leans towards a broader idea: Distilling humanities' oldest questions around pride, lust, death, and others.

I am aiming to release, at minimum, **one 10-minute video weekly.** As time passes and WE receive more feedback from the audience, I plan to scale it to two per week. Additionally, as the channel reaches profitability, we will likely work on content distribution and video repurposing.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

1. Must have native-level English proficiency
2. Must edit on Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
3.
Must be able to return videos for first draft revisions within 36-48 hours
4. Must have previous experience collaborating asynchronously on video editing
5. Must be capable of hand-picking phrases to highlight, background music, and occasional sound effects.
