Field Data Verification Specialists for Point of Interest (Poi) Collection

We are seeking detail-oriented and autonomous Field Data Verification Specialists to support a Point of Interest (POI) data collection project. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for visiting designated physical stores, primarily catering venues, to verify operational status and collect specific geographic data. This role requires high reliability, comfort with field navigation, and strict adherence to data quality standards. Responsibilities will include: Visiting assigned catering venues and other physical stores. Verifying the current operational status of each location. Collecting precise geographic data and other specified POI attributes. Ensuring all collected data meets strict quality and accuracy standards. Documenting findings clearly and concisely. Ideal candidates will possess: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in the field. Excellent navigation skills and comfort with using mapping tools. High level of reliability and commitment to project timelines. Previous experience in field data collection or market research is a plus. This is a fixed-price project focused on delivering verified POI data for a defined set of locations. We are looking for professionals who can ensure the integrity and completeness of our critical business data.

Key Responsibilities

⁠ ⁠Utilize mobile map navigation to locate assigned target stores within your designated geographic zone.

⁠ ⁠Operate a dedicated data collection application (SpotOn APP) to verify on-site details.

⁠ ⁠Record brief in-store videos and capture storefront footage to confirm the operational status of the venue.

⁠ ⁠Conduct automated Wi-Fi scans using the provided application to log network presence.

⁠ ⁠Ensure all submitted media meets strict quality guidelines, confirming your indoor presence at the designated coordinates.

Technical & Hardware Requirements

Due to strict security and application architecture requirements, all applicants must utilize their own compliant hardware to perform these services.

Operating System: Must use an Android smartphone . IOS (Apple) devices are not supported.

Hardware Specifications: The device must possess a minimum of 8GB of RAM and run Android version 7.0 or higher.

Hardware Restrictions: Huawei devices and smartphones running the specific Android 9.0 OS are not compatible with our secure collection environment and cannot be used.

Connectivity: Must maintain a stable mobile data connection and sufficient battery power while conducting field tasks.
