mural.co’s creative team is seeking a Freelance Motion Design & Post-Production Editor to join our crew for 40 hours a week, starting with a 3 month contract with the potential to extend. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of video editing and motion graphics, aiming to create engaging content that turns heads and stops people in their scroll. This role requires technical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a resourceful drive to stay ahead of trends in the fast-paced world of social media and digital marketing. This role is 100% REMOTE. That’s right. We believe creativity and productivity can strike from anywhere, even your living room.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fine-tune our video and motion graphic animations for distribution across social platforms.
- Adhere to our established guidelines and design systems to support and scale video and motion production across marketing channels.
- Innovate and develop new video and animation content specifically tailored for social media engagement.
- Work closely with our video lead and creative team to develop and execute video concepts that align with our brand ethos and resonate with our target audience.
- Always push for greater and better by actively contributing creative ideas and suggestions during the production process.
- Utilize deep knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) to stay abreast of the latest social media trends and features to continually elevate our video productions.

REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
- English fluency
- Minimum of 3-5 years in video editing and production.
- Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
- Knowledge of video compression techniques and formats for optimal quality and performance.

Soft Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the creative team.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and make revisions accordingly.
