Java Backend Developer Spring, Hibernate, Maven

Systemkern is a small Development Company based in Vienna, Austria (Europe) . We develop individual Software for small to medium size clients and Startups. We have of experience with remote freelancers and are looking for a team member who will be with us for a longer period of time.


Currently we are looking for Senior Java and Kotlin Developer with extensive experience in the Java Ecosystem of at least 5 Years for the implementation of applications in a microservices  environment  to support us during the development of a client project. We are developing in Kotlin which is very easy to learn if you already have Java experience.

* at least 5 Years of experience as Java Developer
* Maven, Git, Spring
* Spring Boot
* Spring Data with Hibernate and Spring Rest
* Developer tests: JUnit, mocking framework: Mockito
* Clean Code principles and practices, e.g. Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Boy Scout Rule
* Test Driven Development, Code Reviews
* English at a professional level

Additional nice to have skills
* Kotlin experience

Delivery

Code has to be delivered according to the project’s contribution guidelines.
In short:
* Delivery includes Unit and Integration Tests
* Delivery includes updated Documentation and API Docs
* Delivery via Git Pull Request
* Obviously the build pipeline for the PR has to be successful

You must send a receipt which is valid in the eu, along with either a copy of your company’s commercial registration or a copy of your government id e.g. A Passport.
