Mechanical Cad Designer for Connector Refinement and Assembly Optimization

We are seeking an experienced mechanical CAD designer to refine an existing connector design. The project involves taking an initial 3D model, created in Rhino, and optimizing its dimensions, hole placements, and fastening system. The primary goal is to ensure the connector can be properly and reliably assembled using standard, commercially available nuts and bolts. The designer will be responsible for reviewing the current model, suggesting improvements for manufacturability and assembly, and implementing these changes in the CAD software. Deliverables include the finalized 3D model and any necessary technical drawings for production.
