We are seeking talented music producers, composers, arrangers, and soundtrack professionals to join a remote, part-time project. This opportunity involves supporting a leading global AI and music technology company by evaluating musical content for visual media.
If you possess experience in creating or analyzing music for films, TV shows, animation, games, or other visual media, this role is an excellent fit. The project focuses specifically on the evaluation of film and media scoring, rather than general songwriting or music creation.
No prior experience in AI or data annotation is required, as comprehensive instructions, examples, and guidelines will be provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
What You'll Do:
- Listen to and meticulously analyze soundtracks and background music for film, TV, animation, and games.
- Evaluate instrumentation, musical arrangements, and various scoring techniques.
- Assess how effectively music supports scene emotions, storytelling narratives, and visual timing.
- Review AI-generated soundtrack analyses and accurately identify any inaccuracies.
- Provide clear, constructive ratings and feedback in accordance with established project guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong background in music composition, music production, or film scoring.
- A deep understanding of soundtracks, musical arrangements, and their role in emotional expression.
- Experience with music tailored for films, TV, games, animation, or advertisements is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), MIDI, or virtual instruments is a plus.
- The ability to understand and follow written instructions in English.
- Reliable computer access, a stable internet connection, and exceptional attention to detail.
