We need an expert to design, build, and harden production-grade automations in n8n (8N8) and to deploy voice AI agents that run end-to-end on our infrastructure. You’ll integrate multiple open-source apps and 3rd-party providers via APIs to deliver custom workflows for our clients.

Project overview

Scope (deliverables) Build modular n8n workflows (triggered by webhooks/cron/queues) for CRM, billing, messaging, and data sync. Stand up voice agents (inbound & outbound) using our telecom/Speech-AI stack (e.g., Telnyx for sip/rtc, deepgram for stt/vad, openai for nlu/llm, optional elevenlabs/azure for tts). Implement call flows: greeting, intent capture, authentication, knowledge lookup, action execution (create tickets, book appointments, update Crm), smart handoff to human, voicemail, and transcripts. api integrations: rest/graphql, oauth2, webhooks, rate limits, retries/backoff, idempotency, and pagination. Reliability: centralized logging, alerting, error handling, retries, and dead-letter queues; environment-based config (dev/staging/prod). Security: secrets in vault/env, RBAC, least-privilege keys, audit logs; comply with Canadian privacy (PIPEDA/Law-25) basics. Docs & handover: architecture diagram, .env example, runbooks, and brief screencast walkthrough. Tests: sandbox calls + mocked APIs; acceptance tests for the main flows.Our stack & access n8n (Docker) on our VPS; Git repo (ci/cd), postgres, redis/queues, cloudpanel/portainer. Comms/Speech providers listed above; typical app targets: WordPress/Forms, Zoho/VTiger, Mautic, Slack/Teams, Google Workspace, Stripe/QuickBooks, Notion/Airtable. You work remotely on our servers (ssh + vpn). We provide credentials and provider accounts. What we’re looking for Proven n8n (or Node-based) automation experience and shipped voice/IVR or agent projects. Solid api engineering (rest/graphql, oauth2), webhooks, webhook security, json mapping. Docker, Linux, and basic networking; Git discipline and clear documentation. Nice to have: prompt engineering, vector search, rag, telephony (sip/webrtc), queueing (bullmq/rabbitmq). General context of the project We build custom automation solutions for SMBs and professional-services firms. Our goal is to standardize repeatable patterns (intake → classification → action → confirmation → reporting) across voice, SMS, email, and web. Engagements are milestone-based; communication is in English (French/Spanish helpful). Selected freelancers get ongoing work if they deliver fast, reliable, documented workflows.
