about the product
credentis is a trust and compliance platform for verified projects. People and organisations hold a digital identity, keep verifiable credentials, decide what data they share, and take part in verified projects.

There are two apps under one brand:
- Mobile (Flutter): an identity wallet. Create or restore an identity, manage credentials, accept project invites, and control consent.
- Web (React): an operations dashboard for client organisations, partners and managers. Projects, PQQ templates, partner onboarding, workforce and compliance.

The core journey is simple: prove who you are, hold credentials, agree to share data, join a verified project.

What we need
We're looking for a product designer to build a shared design system in Figma and design the main end-to-end flows for both web and mobile, in light and dark themes, so engineering can build without having to invent UX along the way.

There's no Figma file yet. Right now the visual source of truth is the live CSS in the web app plus a partial Flutter theme. Brand colours are already settled (teal #1F6B5C, ink #14231F, sage surface #F1F5F3). Web uses Bricolage Grotesque and Source Sans 3; mobile is still on default Material fonts.

Part of the job is sorting out the information architecture for each role, keeping one brand language across both apps, and replacing placeholder screens with real patterns, especially the mobile capture/KYC screens and the denser web ops screens.

Flows to cover

Mobile (holder)
- splash, welcome, create identity (person or organisation)
- registration: passport, selfie, right-to-work checks
- recovery phrase backup, attach login, sign-in
- wallet shell with four tabs: Wallet, Credentials, Projects, Consent
- credential list, upload and scan
- project invitation, apply, participation detail
- consent request, approve or reject, active grants, audit trail

Web (organisation / partner)
- login and register, including handoff of an identity created on mobile
- identity profile
- projects list, create project, project detail hub (overview, pqq templates, partner onboarding, delegations, invitations, participations, compliance)
- pqq template authoring, with an import option
- partner onboarding fill, plus review and approve
- cross-project onboarding task dashboard
- workforce invite and review, with plain human status labels instead of raw api values

deliverables
- figma file with a shared library plus separate web and mobile pages, named frames, auto-layout where it makes sense
- design system: tokens mapped to the existing credentis colours and fonts, light and dark semantic tokens, components with their variants and states
- core components: buttons, inputs, forms, tabs, tables, badges, navigation for both platforms, and empty, loading and error states
- clickable prototypes for mobile onboarding into the wallet, consent approval, and the web flow from project creation through partner onboarding and review
- high-fidelity screens for the priority flows in both themes; mid-fidelity is fine for secondary states
- dark mode: full token pairs, a theme switch pattern, dark variants for core components
- handoff notes: spacing and type specs, platform notes (flutter material 3 vs web css variables), and a map of the file
- a proposed set of human-readable labels for identity, credential, consent, participation and onboarding states
- a short page listing assumptions and open questions

what success looks like
one coherent credentis look across web and mobile in both themes. The mobile onboarding and capture flows and the web project, PQQ and partner flows are complete enough for engineering to build from. UUIDs and raw enums have friendlier alternatives. The system stays small enough to be usable and can grow later.

Who we're looking for
- a strong portfolio of design systems and products that span web and mobile
- experience with identity, KYC, consent or compliance work is a plus, not a must
- comfortable working from live code tokens and talking directly with engineering
- confident in Figma: auto-layout, variants, tokens, prototyping

What you'll get from us
Access to staging or local builds, or a recorded walkthrough. A glossary of the domain (identity types, project roles, consent categories, status machines). The existing token values from the web and mobile theme files. A product owner for role and compliance questions, and an engineer for feasibility questions around the capture and OCR work.

Tech context, just so you know what you're designing for: web is React with custom CSS, mobile is Flutter Material 3. Both talk only to the API gateway.
