Raspberry Pi Controlled Interactive Event Sequence with Lights, Servo, Audio, and Snow Machines

Published on the May 19, 2026 in IT & Programming

About this project

Open

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to assist with a Raspberry Pi controlled interactive event system. The project involves a pre-wired setup with a configured Raspberry Pi and existing hardware components. The core functionality is triggered by a dome push button, initiating a timed sequence of events.

Upon pressing the button:
- Multiple sets of lights will turn on.
- A servo motor will activate.
- Music will begin playing through Bluetooth speakers.

Five (5) seconds after the initial button press, an RF signal will be sent to two snow machines, causing them to turn on. The snow machines will then turn off ten (10) seconds later (at the 15-second mark from the initial button press). Finally, the remaining system components (lights, servo, music) will power off nineteen (19) seconds after the initial button press.

The project is already wired, and the Raspberry Pi is configured. We may have existing code, but its usability is uncertain. We require assistance to get the entire system operational. This may involve debugging the current code or developing new, simple, and easily editable code to manage the precise timing and control of all components. The ideal candidate will have experience with Raspberry Pi programming and hardware integration to ensure a smooth and reliable operation.

This project needs to be done very quickly and freelancer needs to be very responsive as well as able to meet virtually.

This project might not be awarded depending on previous freelancer and there ability to finish the previous project which included this project in their scope.
