Remote Immigration Paralegal for Canada/U.S. Files - Long-Term Full-Time Role

We are seeking a dedicated remote immigration paralegal for a long-term, full-time collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess mandatory professional experience with Canadian or U.S. Immigration files. A professional reference from a Canadian or U.S. Law firm, immigration firm, legal department, or company is also required.

You will be joining a diverse team of approximately 10 colleagues, working from various locations including Tunisia, Algeria, and Montreal, within a multicultural, French-first environment. Key responsibilities for this role include comprehensive client follow-up, meticulous document preparation, efficient handling of immigration applications, managing critical deadlines, and overall file management.

Requirements for this position include:
- Proven experience in Canadian or U.S. Immigration procedures.
- Fluency in either English or French is essential, with a willingness to learn French if required.
- Comfort and proficiency in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to enhance productivity.
- Availability to work approximately 8 hours per day, aligning with Montreal time zone hours.
- A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to operate independently.
- Comfort working remotely, utilizing a computer located in Montreal.

This is a long-term engagement, not a one-time project. Starting compensation is cad $700 per month, with potential to grow to approximately cad $1,000 per month within one year, based on performance.
