Who we are:
We are a supermarket in the Philippines that use a 9 year old Clarion language based system. We rely on long range radio antenna wifi for communication with our warehouse. We would like to retain most features and add some security features.


What we are looking for:
- Experience developing dependable inventory and accounting software
- Print barcode, inventory reports that include CCTV screenshots, and invoicing.
- Some knowledge about establishing long-range wireless network system.
- Willing to work with an escrow account: the down payment for the system will be deposited to an account that will be automatically returned to us if the software is not delivered on the agreed time.
Down payment will be given upon installation of the system. We already have years of bad experience with a previous software engineer and want to prevent unnecessary cost for unproductive system development.

This is project-based but hopefully we build the right relationship and make this a long term agreement.

Project overview

Here is an overview of the features we already have and the updates we would like to have: Purchasing: - prevent overstock and understock by providing sales and inventory queries. - We want to add further interoperability with inventory receiving and disbursements. Inventory receiving and stock transfers: - we have security features that are specific to our warehouse setup and we would like to add CCTV capturing for every warehouse transaction. Point of sale terminals: - our pos are bir-registered and are able to work independently of a stable communication with the backoffice server (in case of power outages) - despite this independence we require that pos must report all sales and update all prices based on backoffice database. - Payables and disbursements: we want to add more interoperability with purchasing, receiving, and sales. - Bank reconciliation - Database queries of sales, purchasing, warehouse transactions. - User performance and tracking: These are a lot because we have so many pending request that are yet to be solved by our current developer. Which is also one of the reasons why we are more careful now with quantifying work. We are new to remote setup. We can divide this into smaller requests or just have this all paid as one if you already have an existing program that we could readily implement instead.
