Senior Java Developer for Danish global Apparel & Fashion Company

SFox team is looking for a software developer who will join our client team from Denmark. Someone, who:

knows and thinks in microservices
loves developing in Java Spring Boot
is passionate about clean and structured code and values performance highly
is excited about the idea of ci/cd.

What you will be doing
You will join our cross-functional Scrum team, consisting of highly skilled and professional colleagues. The team is working from multiple locations, so more or less all communication is happening virtually. In the IT team we have end-to-end responsibility for the sourcing processes across the company, and as our new Backend Developer, your responsibility will be to develop great solutions closely together with the team.
We aim to build a portal, which facilitates all of the company’s sourcing needs with different parties in a way that improves efficiency and transparency. On a daily basis, we serve more than 40.000 external users across the globe.

You will join a team where teamwork and social interactions are highly prioritized! We generally have a full-stack approach, so it would be an advantage if you also have an interest in front-end development. We will ensure that you are thoroughly onboarded to the team, and you can expect a steep development curve with a world of opportunities within our large IT organization. We have a hybrid workplace, so your daily work will be carried out both from one of our offices and online from wherever you are.

What you bring to the job
You have experience with backend development and knowledge of agile frameworks. Qualifications

Strong with Spring Boot, core, etc. Across various Spring versions. Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE tech stack, Java 8 features streams and Microservices development using REST/GraphQl
Experience in building integration with SQL databases Oracle, Postgres, Web services, APIs.
Experience with setting up Kafka clusters with high availability and high throughput configurations, different Kafka Connectors, Schema Registry, and Kafka.
Experience with NoSql DBs such as Neo4J and Mongo DB will be a great plus.
Strong communication skills.
