Project Concept:

This project aims to develop a smart glove that helps people with hearing or speech disabilities communicate easily with others by translating hand gestures (sign language) into text words that appear directly on a mobile app. The user wears the glove and performs the gesture, and the glove recognizes the movement and translates it into the corresponding word.

Project Components:

Protective glove: Modified to accommodate sensors and wires.

Flex sensors: Attached to the fingers of the glove to measure the degree of curvature of each finger.

ESP32 controller: Collects and analyzes sensor data.

Jumper wires: Connect the sensors to the controller.

Electronic resistors: Adjust the sensor signals.

Transmitter module (such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi): Sends data to the app.

Mobile application (Android or iOS): Receives data from the glove and displays the translated word.

How the glove works:

The user wears the glove and performs a hand movement that expresses a word in sign language.

Flexibility sensors measure the degree of curvature of each finger.

The data is sent to a control unit, which analyzes the signals and identifies the corresponding word.

The translated word is sent to a mobile app.

The app displays the written word on the screen, and audio pronunciation can be added.
