About the Role :
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us scale our blockchain-related hosting services to new levels. This role would aid in the monitoring, error detection, and reporting of thousands of hardware components to ensure high reliability of our services. This is a remote role that will require coordination with other employees in US time zones.
Responsibilities
Implement back-end scripts and software to collect and process data from web APIs.
Create internal tools to aid with monitoring and reporting issues in a human-consumable form at cluster- and data center-level scales.
Design and implement software components at various levels of the stack (backend-heavy, but also mid-level and front-end).
Basic Requirements:
Sysadmin experience (monitoring and reporting failed equipment).
Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C++, Python, Go, Java…)
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, OR several years of experience with programming and knowledge of data structures, algorithm complexity, concurrency, and scalable, test-driven design principles.
Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.(English)
A “generalist” who can learn new APIs, tools, and languages as needed to solve a variety of problems.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with computer hardware repair.
Experience with digital currency custody and general blockchain principles.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with tcp/ip and network programming.
The Ideal Candidate
A strong background in Computer Science, full-stack experience (basic back-end data collection and processing, front-end presentation) and passion for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
Willing to overlap with the Mountain Time zone.
We need someone flexible in working with different time zone since the position may not be full time in US time zones in the future
