Speech writer with experience in public safety and local politics

I am giving a short 1-2 minute speech at a public event/ceremony held by the Orange County Fire Authority and Supervisor Katrina Foley on September 12th, 2024.
I am a Board Director in Aliso Viejo, CA. In August of 2023, I fought to install a helipad in an area of the city that is unusable, but is often used by the OCFA in cases of emergency and training. Flash forward, the helipad is installed and also includes a Helopod. The Helopod is a self-filling water container that allows helecopters to siphon water quickly, without having to land and refill. It would protect this city as well as surrounding city's by improving water drop turnaround times exponentially.

The beginning of my speech will consist of thanking all those involved. Then briefly discuss the importance of the entity's cooperation as a whole. Finally, I'd like to discuss its importance to the area in greater detail.

I'd like the speech to have a "vote for me" tone to it, although I am not running for office. I can provide links the very similar events that have occurred in the past that should make this small project easier to understand and write
